Dr. Karsten Ottenberg

Dr. Karsten Ottenberg has been Chairman of the Management Board since April 1, 2005.

Michael Kuemmerle

Michael Kuemmerle has been a member of the Management Board since July 1, 2006 and is head of the Mobile Security business unit. This supplies innovative security solutions for digital applications to financial institutions, network operators, transport providers, and businesses in all sectors.

Hans Wolfgang Kunz

Hans Wolfgang Kunz has served on the Giesecke & Devrient Management Board since 1996. Since January 1, 2006 he has been in charge of the Government Solutions business unit, which devises security-related solutions for passport and visa systems as well as ID and healthcare cards for national governments and their agencies.

Dr. Walter Schlebusch

Dr. Walter Schlebusch has been a member of the Management Board since January 1, 2000 and is responsible for the Banknote business unit. This unit covers the entire cash cycle – from production of banknotes and security paper through banknote printing all the way to banknote processing.

Dr. Peter Zattler

Dr. Peter Zattler has been a member of the Management Board since July 1, 2001. As Chief Financial Officer, he oversees controlling, mergers and acquisitions, treasury, accounting, and taxes. On January 1, 2006, Dr. Zattler also took charge of Human Resources as Director of Labor Relations.
