ASL and G&D Australasia: Card Production Milestone

Australian Settlements Limited (ASL) and Giesecke & Devrient (G&D) Australasia have reached their first significant milestone as partners with production of their 500,000th payment card.

In 2009, when the ASL Group began migrating its members to the next generation of payment technology – EMV chip cards – it chose G&D Australasia as its preferred partner. The Group was impressed by G&D’s strong relationship model, clear commitment to innovation, and proven capabilities as industry leader for development and implementation of EMV programs in the Australian market.
